Millions of women attended Women’s Marches across the country this past weekend, with many of them donning knitted “Pussy Hats” in protest of the inauguration of President Trump.
But if they’re in Franklin, Tennessee, there’s one store that will not be welcoming their business because“the women’s movement is counterproductive to unity of family, friends, community, and nation.”
The Joy of Knitting took to their page to post the following message:
In other words, if you’re fighting for equality, you’re going to have to get your yarn somewhere else.
As you can imagine, it didn’t really go over that well, and there are more than 9,000 comments, many in opposition of their post.
