Perhaps you’ve seen people who have recovered their coffee tables with pennies. It’s a cool look and seems to be a manageable enough task, right? I mean, how hard is it to lay down and secure a few hundred pennies? Probably not that tricky, right?
Well, one dad decided to take that idea a step further by laying pennies on the floor of an entire room in his house. The rows are roughly a hundred pennies wide, so you can see that this quickly became a taxing effort.
I’m sure his back killed after this. Not only from laying them down and securing them to the floor, but from carrying box after box from the bank. They apparently would only let him take two boxes a week.
But the finished product seems to be worth it. Not many can boast a floor like that, and the flooring surface only cost $200! That’s 20,000 pennies, individually stuck to the ground. Let’s hope they don’t move any time soon.
